I'm Leslie Rider

Welcome to Amauta, the online language school offering personalized Spanish classes for all levels.

I’m the founder of Amauta and a Peruvian native living in the United States. I have a bachelor’s degree in Education with a focus in Spanish, a certification in teaching Cognitive Grammar, and 10+ years teaching experience. Amauta was born out of my passion for teaching and the desire to make learning a new language accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

I have gone through the process of learning a second language and I know how challenging it can be. A good teacher makes a world of difference, and I want to be that teacher for you. My goal is to make your learning journey as fun and easy as possible.
